Getting started with Takar
Learn the three main areas and how to move between tools.
- Open /takar/. The app is in Indonesian: its main navigation has Kalkulator (Calculator), Konverter (Converter), and Alat (Tools).
- In the web demo, 10 of the 34 conversion categories are open. The others appear locked and are available in the app.
- Tools that need device sensors don’t appear in the web demo.
Numbers, decimals, and units
Check the number format and units before you calculate.
- Make sure the source and target units are right before reading the result.
- If a result looks off, note the exact number you typed, including its decimal mark.
- Send that number with both units and the result you expected.
A field tool doesn’t respond
Check sensor permissions, orientation, and browser support.
- The ruler, bubble level, and timestamp read the device’s sensors, so they’re only available in the app.
- In the app, allow motion-sensor access when asked.
- If another tool in the grid doesn’t react, reload the page, then note the tool’s name.
Opening the Wiring simulator
A guide to the virtual board, IEC view, zoom, and simulation controls.
- The full simulator is open at /wiring/, no account needed. It’s in Indonesian.
- The simulation runs on your device, not on our server. Large boards can feel slow on older phones or laptops.
- Projects are saved in your browser. Clearing site data also deletes them.
