    Data processed

    Calculation inputs and interface preferences are processed on the device to run the tool you choose. Takar, on the web and as an Android app, doesn’t require an ARSTEMA account and contains no ads or analytics tools.

    Camera and location

    The Timestamp tool uses the device’s camera and location to create photos stamped with the time and coordinates. Photos and coordinates are processed on the device and are stored only if you save or share the photo yourself.

    Takar doesn’t send photos or location to ARSTEMA’s servers or to anyone else. Camera and location permissions are requested only when you use Timestamp, and you can revoke them at any time in your device settings.

    Sensors and notifications

    The bubble level and ruler read the device’s motion sensors, and their readings never leave the device. The Flow timer shows an ongoing notification so it keeps counting time while the app is in the background.

    Internet connection

    Most tools work without the internet. A connection is used only to:

    • fetch the latest currency exchange rates from the public currency-api service (via jsDelivr or Cloudflare Pages);
    • download optional content packs, dictionary media, and app updates from ARSTEMA’s content storage, which runs on Supabase Storage.

    These requests carry no user identity. As with any internet connection, the service providers receive the device’s IP address so the data can be delivered.

    Local storage

    History, preferences, calibration, the last exchange rates, and wiring projects are stored on your device or in your browser. Clearing the site’s or the app’s data, or uninstalling the app, deletes that local storage.

    Diagnostics and support

    If you contact support, we process the information you choose to send in order to respond to your report. Don’t include confidential data that isn’t needed.
